Spanning time and geography, this focused exhibition features more than a dozen prints from the permanent collection chosen for their common medium: etching. Etching, a printmaking process in which artists create images on metal plates with the aid of chemical action--traditionally, acid--began being used by artists around 1500 and continues in use today.
