Year End Giving
As we enter the final weeks of 2017, Arts Mid-Hudson has much to be grateful for and we send our heartfelt thanks and ask that you consider becoming a contributor to the cause.
Arts Mid-Hudson is again proud to be entrusted with distributing New York State’s arts funding across Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange counties. This money goes back into our community to fund local arts organizations and individual artist projects.
Arts Mid-Hudson has also worked to strengthen local community groups by working as the organizing partner for Art Walk Kingston in its second record breaking year – now the largest open studio tour in the Hudson River Valley region. Our store-front gallery space has been host to a broad spectrum of activities from regional artists, including changing exhibits and interactive presentations, such Arts Mid-Hudson’s popular Art Brunch at the end of every gallery exhibit and folk arts events that feature hands-on Japanese writing traditions of Kakizome. These projects are just a few examples of how Arts Mid-Hudson supports effective engagement with the community by introducing art to entire families, some for the first time.
Your gift ensures our work will continue. In this season of thanks, we extend our appreciation to you, a faithful champion of our cause. We look back with pride on 2017’s accomplishments and plan to do more in 2018 – your year-end gift will help us make this happen.
We wish you a warm and joyous holiday season!
