We can point to over 50 years of nurturing local artists and arts organizations, making the Hudson Valley region a land of creative opportunity. Arts Mid-Hudson is proud to be entrusted with distributing New York State’s arts funding across Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster Counties – funding that goes right back out into our community through local arts organizations and individual artist projects, creating the lively art scene our residents and visitors enjoy.

While our work helps artists and arts organizations achieve their highest potential, we also see the benefits of increased spending in our region through tourism. In fact, a recent tourism survey reports that significant amounts of dollars come into the Hudson Valley Region through tourism, which brings jobs and increased spending at food and beverage, retail, transportation, and recreation establishments. This indirect benefit of supporting the arts creates a better place for the residents that call this place home.
