Statewide Community Regrant Program

Statewide Community Regrants

This program was previously called the Decentralization Grant Program.

Community Arts Grant – support arts and cultural activities that may include, but are not limited to: exhibitions, workshops, performances, festivals, concerts, plays, temporary installations, screenings or readings.

The Individual Artist Commission – supports the creation of new work by an individual artist. Can engage a particular community in the artist’s creative process and/or presentation.

Arts Learning Grant – supports sequential, skill-based workshop series focused on the arts and artistic process. Projects can take place in-school during the school day and/or in after-school and community-based settings for youth and/or senior learners

These awards are made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.

Dutchess Partners in the Arts

What is Dutchess Partners in the Arts (DPA)? For over 50 years, Arts Mid-Hudson (AMH) has taken a lead role in equitably distributing Dutchess County arts and cultural funds to Dutchess County arts organizations, so that both residents and visitors to our region can enjoy a rich offering of arts. Through a partnership with the Office of the County Executive and Dutchess Tourism, AMH is pleased to partner with arts organizations to support capacity building initiatives and implement arts offerings. We seek partners that have a history of achievement in the arts, good management, stable finances, and self-sustaining programs with the potential to make a measurable impact.

Capacity Building Initiatives support initiatives which grow the capacity of arts and cultural organizations in Dutchess County.

Programmatic Support funds may be used for arts and cultural events, new and existing, which engage visitors and residents of Dutchess County.

Empowered Artist Award

Empowered Artist Award is an annual fund to provide three unrestricted funds to three artists in honor of Linda Marston-Reid (former executive director of Arts Mid-Hudson).

One of the most critical needs for artists is access to unrestricted funds so they may continue their practice, elevate their careers, and be more visible within their community. These funds will enable artists to create work, purchase new equipment, access educational opportunities, and pay their bills.
