The Anonymous Was A Woman Environmental Art Grants (AWAW EAG) provides grants of up to $20,000 to environmental art projects led by women-identifying artists in the United States and U.S. Territories.
The AWAW EAG supports environmental art projects that inspire thought, action, and ethical engagement. Projects should not only point at problems, but aim to engage an environmental issue at some scale. Proposals should illustrate thorough consideration of a project’s ecological and social ethics. Projects that explore interdependence, relationships, and systems through Indigenous and ancestral practices are encouraged to apply.

Arts Mid-Hudson announces the Arts & Culture Project Grant Program, a funding program to support the arts in Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster Counties. This funding is available to artists, nonprofit organizations, libraries, municipalities, unincorporated groups, and collaborations for arts and cultural activities from June 1, 2025 - May 31, 2026. Eligible projects may include, but are not limited to, exhibits, performances, concerts, festivals, in-school and community workshops, screenings, readings, cultural programming, and the creation of new work. Grant awards are determined by a peer review panel made up of community members.

About Arts Mid-Hudson
Arts Mid-Hudson plays a pivotal role in nurturing the arts scene in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Our mission is to provide vision and leadership to support thriving and diverse arts in the Mid-Hudson region. We achieve this through funding, advocacy, and programming that connect artists and communities for a better understanding of the power of art.
We manage a variety of programs and initiatives aimed at supporting artists and cultural organizations. These include grant programs, exhibitions, cultural events, workshops, and community arts projects that span across visual arts, music, literature, dance, and more. Our efforts are dedicated to ensuring that the arts are accessible to all, fostering a rich cultural landscape that benefits both creators and the community.
Activities and Expectations
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to engage in several key development activities. Here’s what you can expect:
Event Planning and Execution: Assist in aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, vendor coordination, guest management, and day-of-event support. Work collaboratively with staff to ensure events align with Arts Mid-Hudson’s mission and goals.
Typical events to work on include the Dutchess and Ulster County Executive’s Arts Awards and Arts Mid-Hudson Community Mixers
Donor Stewardship: Support the development team in implementing donor recognition and stewardship activities. This may include preparing donor communications, assisting with donor database management, and helping to organize donor appreciation calls and letters
Community Engagement: Engage with community members and partners to promote Arts Mid-Hudson’s events and programs, and work with local businesses and organizations to provide benefits to Arts Mid-Hudson members
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the development and events team as needed. This may include data entry, preparing meeting materials, and other tasks to support the organization’s operations.

Our internship program was created with the intention of continuing to evaluate ways in which we can enhance the visibility of the Museum’s programs to attract a diverse audience – the overarching goal being to to build a program that serves students’ educational and professional development needs. Our aim is to nurture up‐and‐coming public relations professionals by offering a unique opportunity to work with a team that develops innovative programs that support the Museum’s growth.
The KMA provides supervised Museum internships designed collaboratively to meet the requirements for school credit. Students also have the opportunity to volunteer for community service credit. The KMA is a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit organization and an equal opportunity employer.

Education Internship The Katonah Museum of Art seeks a Museum Education Intern for September 2018 – June 2019 to be part of the KMA Education team to assist with, learn from, develop, and facilitate programing geared toward family and youth bilingual audiences. The internship provides a valuable opportunity to partner with experienced educators on curriculum design and facilitation of early childhood and family programs, as well as the implementation of engagement efforts for immigrant and Latino audiences.

Created in 1993 to further FCA's mission to encourage, sponsor, and promote the work of a contemporary, experimental nature, Emergency Grants provide urgent funding for visual and performing artists who: Have sudden, unanticipated opportunities to present their work to the public when there is insufficient time to seek other sources of funding or incur unexpected or unbudgeted expenses for projects close to completion with committed exhibition or performance dates.

+ BIMA Artist’s Book Residency Grant for Indigenous Artists - Women's Studio Workshop

The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art Artist’s Book Residency Grant for Indigenous Artists is a ten week residency for North American Indigenous artists to produce a limited edition book work. Working intensively in our studios, artists print and bind their own books, and are encouraged to create an edition size no larger than 100 and no smaller than 50.
The grant includes a stipend of $350/week, up to $1000 for materials, full travel reimbursement, free onsite housing, and 24/7 studio access. WSW provides technical advice; training on new equipment, techniques, and materials; and production assistance. The contract stipulates that 20% of the edition goes to WSW’s archive, exhibition, and display copies; 20% of the edition goes to the artist; and 60% of the edition goes to general sales. WSW has developed a series of archive and exhibition opportunities for our artists’ books, and artists can collaborate with WSW on marketing for a 50% commission fee.
