Marcia Moore

This body of work is a continuation of my exploration of collage, painted surfaces and drawing. Collage interests me for its ability to liberate me from the terror of the first mark and its flexibility in the art making process. Change is always available. The pieces shown here were made with gessoed paper, found collage papers and Caran D’ache Neocolor crayons. Attempting  to liberate my mind from my hands, the first marks were made with my eyes closed.
